how to buy our lamb

We currently sell our Dorper lamb by order (side of lamb or full lamb) and at local Farmers Markets (range of packaged cuts). We will also be releasing a certain number of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Shares in the near future.

order lamb

A side of lamb or full lamb can be ordered for delivery to a central location or pick-up at one of our local Farmers Markets. Please note that we are conscious of food miles so we only deliver when we have adequate orders to match the distance. We will discuss delivery with you when you place an order and a $50.00 deposit is required 14 days prior to delivery. Our lambs range from 22 kilograms to 25 kilograms hot carcass weight (HCW) and you will be charged per kilogram HCW. Our price per kilogram is $15.50 with a local discount of 10% for all orders picked up at Swan Hill Farmers Market or Sunraysia Farmers Market. You can choose the particular lamb cuts that you would like and the meat will be cryovaced & boxed for delivery.

Farmers markets

We currently attend our local Farmers Markets once a month. Sunraysia Farmers Market is on the first Saturday of the month and Swan Hill Farmers Market is on the first Sunday of the month. We sell a range of our Dorper lamb cuts packaged and priced accordingly. We love the vibe at Farmers Markets, talking to fellow stallholders and customers. We now have a loyal customer base but it is also great to meet new customers and share our story.

csa member share

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a model of food production and distribution that closely connects food eaters with food producers. It is a way for consumers to choose to know their farmer and to directly support them in their ventures. People will be able to become members of our CSA model and to select how much of our meat they would like to eat over the period of a year. This means that people will effectively buy a "share" of our projected lamb production for the year. This "share" will be paid for up-front or monthly via direct debit and delivered at a minimum, four times per year. This support will enable us to better plan our activities and improvements for the year ahead.
